The game is great, but I oftentimes find that it cheats me out of lives and time won. The game starts you with five lives, and more often than not it cheats you out of a life. When I started suspecting it, I started keeping track of my lives and was able to confirm that in fact it cheats you out of a live more often than not. Also when you win the 30 minutes of free play it barely gives you 10 minutes worth. Regardless, it is a fun addicting game and i enjoy it, it would be 5 stars if they fix the glitches and you can enjoy the game more.

It’s a rarity to find a game that doesn’t require in-App purchases to advance. While you can pay if you’re not very patient, you don’t ever really HAVE to. Even when you get stuck in GardenScapes, all you have to do is wait a few days for the spin wheel prizes to add up. Fun game.

Super fun! Very addictive!

This game has been great! It’s the usual candy crush match ups, but with a rewarding twist of restoring a garden. It can be frustrating with some levels and the impression to spend money to get ahead, but you can have fun without spending much at all. You get coins and bonus items for completing areas, days, and from a daily spin. My reason for 1 Star is that the app continues to crash when I open it, and this has been for about a week. I’m on level 1300 and will be rather disappointed if this is it for my garden journey.

Have been playing for almost a year, had lost interest from time to time but have kept up with it. Would love it even more if when you have a major clearing of a row or falling down items through transporting thingy, if you get a combo for a bomb or something that it would load it as that. Or if two combos fall beside each other let them morph together like in your game where your fixing up the inside of the house. I have that version as well and love them both just wish they both had similarities to kinda connect the two games together. Otherwise LOVE both games!

The addition of the gold reserve is my favorite. I am also pleased with the new format of purchasing additional coins and boosters. There are also gifts along the way as you work towards completing your day. All these add up to making a good game great!

All you can say?

Love the story part... but requires to many stars to stay engaged. 2 stars to find a wrench? 3 stars x3 to put up a fence wound the dock. Getting to be too much at lvl 949.

I love this game, it’s so much fun. But I wish there was a way to earn lives instead of having to wait around for them..

Creators really seem to listen- so glad they got rid of the beat the clock levels and added different challenges! Fun and always just hard enough to keep it interesting! Been playing for a long time and keep coming back!

I’ve been playing this game about a year now, long enough to recognise the algorithms. It is fun to transform the gardens and the gardener is very likeable. However, the game pushes way too hard to make you spend money. There are strategies you can use to manipulate it, like taking breaks between tries, but the really disgusting part is that it will deliberately stop you from winning even easy rounds in a bid to get you to spend money. No matter how skilfully you play a round, it’s not gong to let you win it until it’s algorithms are satisfied. I’m not talking about difficult or super difficult rounds, just garden variety ones (pun intended). UGH so tired of playing an easy round over and over and over again until it’s sure I’m not going to be tempted to spend money. Disgusting!

This game starts out fun and the premise is good but the rewards are exceptionally low for the tasks that are assigned and the “cost” in stars is ridiculously high for quite a lot of things. Also, the “accidental” xtra tasks that crop up become annoying at some point and only serve to slow you down and frustrate you. You also can’t opt out of any of the auxiliary tasks. What if I don’t want to add a statue to my fountain? Try it for a while but keep looking for a better game that doesn’t seem so out to get you.

BUT it cost too much to play! You have to purchase explosives to get off majority of the levels and impossible for you to level up unless you use the extra components like the bombs, etc...
