Fun game - slow moving unless youre willing to pay

I enjoy the game. Dont mind playing the same level multiple times until I win rather than paying to win on the first try. My question is when will the Christmas decorations go away? March 20th and theyre still there! Is there a trick to getting rid of them? Cant find anything online.
